Tips: Next weeks Revlon ECB "I figured I'd post some personal tips for the Revlon ECB deal (I have more makeup then the store thanks to this deal they've done a few times in the past month lol). Colorstay nailpolish is regularly 4.49 at my store. So 50%off would make it about 2.25. Buy 9==20.25. Use 9 colorstay $2 coupons ($18)...Making it cost you 2.25 for your 9 nailpolishes--and you get back 10! Profit of 7.75! Make it even better by using any 5/20 or 2/10 you have. You could also do it this way: Buy 4 eye shadows and 1 nail polish--Total is 4.77x3+2.25x3==21.06...use 6($2) coupons--Total is now 9.06...Get back 10ecbs and make a profit of .94. There are many ways to do this if you do the math carefully. I always plot out my CVS trips and make a shopping list of what I need and the price it is--that way if they are out of something I know how much less my total will be incase I am using an ECB and have to adjust it by replacing it with something else! Also---the $2 coupons can be used on trial size!! They only cost 1.99...so if you buy 11==21.89---Use 11 $2 coupons and pay 1.89--you make a proft of 8.11 and have 1.89 leftover to count for a second round at this ecb since its unlimited!"

ECBs are CVS 'Extra Care Bucks.' They're coupons good for the amount stated that's generated on your receipt when you buy certain items or whatever is required. The ECBs are valid on future purchases.

CVS uses those scan cards to give you their sale prices. If you don't sign up for one of their cards, you supposedly don't ge the sale price. But generally the cashier has a card specifically to scan for those who don't have their own.

Unlike Walgreens, CVS also takes part in the Upromise program. Again, you use your scan card to have the merchandise you buy get credited.
