Do Ping golf clubs go on sale for BF or CM?

I know nothing about golf.  My son has asked for a Ping driver and wondering if I should just bite the bullet and order now or if this is something I will see a sale on?

You might want to try the sporting goods stores - like Dick's. But your son needs to let you know what he needs or the two of you need to go together to ensure he gets the driver he needs as there are a lot of options.

Thanks.  Yes he did give me the specs. He doesn't think we will get it for him due to the price but his birthday is beginning of February so going to use it as a joint Christmas/Birthday gift and then add a few little things on each day as well. He is 21 and didn't ask for much. Lives in his own apartment and really doesn't need anything.
