Hi! I just discovered this site this week and am wondering if you get the Shopko BF deals early? They usually seem to have the best deals in my area. (I don't live near a Best Buy, etc.) We only have JCPenney, Shopko, Walmart, Staples, Radio Shack and Younkers here.

I think last year they did post them on this site early. We don't have toys r us or best buy either, though we will have the best buy by next year. Shopko here is usually a mad house on BF! I remember last year they had a whole bunch of plastic toys free after rebate and everyone was grabbing them like crazy. I would think they would have it here soon!

They might just have them in the Northwest, they have mainly household stuff- toys, clothes, cheap furniture, housewears, electronics. I can't really think of another store to compare it to. They usually don't have too many people in there but on BF it is packed! Last year I think they had their toys buy one get one 50% off but their toys are generally expensive and they don't have a great selection imho. :)

There was one in Evansville, IN about 5 years ago. One BF, my mom and I got ALL our shopping done there. It was the best store. They even gave out free toys to the first several customers. We still cry on BF that there is no ShopKo anywhere near us. :cry2:

Enjoy all you lucky people with ShopKo's!

Shopko is the best! With all their free toys after rebate. Last year I got my son the remote control car and he took it for sharing at school a few weeks ago. The teacher made it a point to ask me where I got it so she could get one for her son and I had to tell her it was free at Shopko! LOL But you are right, it's usually pretty sparce in there any other day in the year except black friday. They are still one of the few that actually give out something free as you walk in the door. Remember years ago Target used to give out those bags filled with sample items? And K-mart used to give out things too. Now nobody does it. Now that I think of it, I don't think Shopko did last year either.

Shopko has been a must for me the last serveral years. They give away items as you go in and the toys free after rebate rock. My wife runs a day care and that helps us stock up on toys!
