genoandkiddo Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 You guys that is awesome, Okay keebelf, Tomorrow one thing mmmmm! Have to wait until tomorrow. Rossman, play along too. Hey is Costco affiliated with Albertsons?
genoandkiddo Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 Twelve more days, Oh my goodness it is flying by. Okay one thing that I would buy for christmas would have to be: The work bench for hubby. He needs one and I would rather get him that than any thing I have gotten the girls. He will probably use it more. Tomorrow write your post in red and end every post with an emotion.
Jaidensmom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I hope rossman's wife doesn't read this forum, she might decide to make him an X-men or pull a polly pocket on his aquadoodle . I'm sure she has a monopoly on his attention, but going to hooters can be quite a risk because you can always see the boohbahs. When you tell her she might give you the blinkies You may need a rescue hero to get you out of this. Be nice to her because you might get the little touch system for christmas isntead of the plug and play. You get what I mean Rossman? Winx club winx club
RossMAN Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Jaidensmom, LOL thanks for the laughs, this is why I love our community because of people like you! My wife is MrsHoneybee and on MyCoupons.com.
Jaidensmom Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 LOL good I was worried you might be offended <G> I figured you had a good sense of humour...if your wife is mshuneytree does that mean your pooh <G> Nice to know I made someone smile today PS: don't tell anyone else here but I hang out over there alot too but I go by Pokem0m thre
Keebelf Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 My one gift would be the Surround sound system for Chris. He has been wanting one for a really long time and, once he gets them, he has already told me that I can pick out the thingies to hang/hold them up.
outnumbered Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 If I was only getting one thing, I'd get a nice 7"+ portable dvd player for our van...we have a 2000 mile trip coming up next year and it would make it a lot easier to have that. But...since I am getting a lot of things, I don't think I'm actually going to get to buy the dvd player. Have to get gifts for family first...stuff for ourselves after that, if there's money left over.
genoandkiddo Posted November 14, 2004 Author Posted November 14, 2004 Okay 12 more days. Yeah. I am so excited. This week is going to fly by. The kids actually have school all week. My mother and I are going shopping on wednesday. So this week will fly, plus hubby has this week off. Then next week will drag, you watch it will.
elena_398 Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Im excited too! The KB Toys add is what Im waiting for and also Target. I didnt see much at Walmart or TRU so those stores are my only hope! I may go into TRU just for the Super Art Chest as my daughter loves to draw and color, but thats about it.
genoandkiddo Posted November 15, 2004 Author Posted November 15, 2004 Okay I am a moron. I guess I was to busy yesterday to think of something to do today. Oh well it is only 10 more days Yeah. Next week WOW!! hard to believe. Tomorrow: Who is coming to your Thanksgiving Dinner? Hey is anyone craving Turkey yet? Oh I am bad.
Ebayordeath Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I found out yesterday that everyone is coming to my house for Thanks giving. So I promptly emailed them a list of items to bring.....
outnumbered Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Our next door neighbors are coming for Thanksgiving. First year here that we've had company, so that's nice. Nothing like making a full turkey dinner, two weeks after giving birth, for yourself and your two preschoolers. (Dh was deployed last year.) So this year not only are we all together but we have company too. Yay! I sure miss holidays with family but this will be close enough.
geekswife Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 No one is coming to our house this year! We're going to my parents' house though. :) I did Thanksgiving at our house a couple of years ago with EVERYone and it was a mad house! I'm perfectly happy to transport my broccoli cheese casserole and fudge. :)
heheher74 Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 We are going to my parents house. I will need to make a pie once I get there.
genoandkiddo Posted November 16, 2004 Author Posted November 16, 2004 Well looks like we are now in the single digits. 9 more days. My Parents who lived in UT moved to ND this summer. They are going to come to my house. I am so excited this will be the first holiday that I get to spend with me maw and me pa in over five years. Not only that but my mother makes the best yams on the face of the earth. Too bad only my daddy and I eat them. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am so hungry for some turkey. (Kiddo wipes her mouth with napkin because she will drown if she doesn't) Okay tomorrow lets post in brown and name three things on Thanksgiving you will probably have more than one helping (Turkey doesn't count everyone has more than one helping).
Rebirth Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 10 days left. I get my check next Wednesday. :) It should be a good 2 days, Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The best back-to-back days.
genoandkiddo Posted November 18, 2004 Author Posted November 18, 2004 thank you realflava, I have been really busy the last three days that time is flying for me. MMMMM oh man it is only a week away. Any idea for tomorrow?
outnumbered Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Sweet potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie...actually I usually have seconds of everything. Maybe even thirds--at midnight or so Thanksgiving food is just so yummy, and if I don't eat my share all at once, LOL, I may not get it all. My dh is a very hungry person.
Jaidensmom Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 LOL well Ladies let me tell you, I don't cook on Thanksgiving......... MY HUSBAND DOES !!!!! He can cook up a holiday meal better than my mother and my grandmother ROTFL sometimes I think thats why I married him <G> So on Thanksgiving I will be kicking back watching him slave over a hot stove and fanning myself Oh how I love a man that can cook
