Scott Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Hey now GottaDeal.... I think you stole this from me.... :) That being said, this is a GREAT router. It can be flashed with the DD-WRT firmware for sure. I'm using it, and have no issues. This router is rock solid with great range. Also, if you need an easy way to set up a WDS network, this router with the factory firmware is great. There is actually a switch that you can turn on to instantly make a WDS network. All you need is two of these. Here is a link to the Buffalo page for more info GottaGeek approved!

mrn8 Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Wow, great price, great router. Might be good to replace my home one. I'm really not happy with the netgear box that I have.
Scott Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Wow, great price, great router. Might be good to replace my home one. I'm really not happy with the netgear box that I have.Go for it... The flashing procedure is a little more difficult than the linksys routers since you have to do the first one from the command line. After that though, it is a breeze.
Scott Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Did you grab one of these mrn8? If you need any help flashing to DD-WRT, let me know.
mrn8 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 No, I'm sticking with Linksys, I think. I'll pick a used WRT54G v2-4 or a WRT54GL.
