natasha
Help my dd wants a new bedroom , but there's a problem. Her room is painted pepto bismol pink and she wants to decorate it in chocolate and pink. We found some cute accessories at Hobby Lobby, but don't have a clue where to find a comforter. She has a full bed and we found a suede chocolate comforter at Walmart. I don't think she's ready for something that isn't washable so I don't know if it will work. This color scheme is in all of the decorating mags, but I haven't seen anything age appropriate for her in any of the b & m stores.

Great Dane Mom
This is probably too old for her: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000EIH3Q2.16._SCLZZZZZZZ_SS384_V51479850_.jpg I found it at Target. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_5/602-0678189-5583858?%5Fencoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000EIH3Q2 Try looking for some of the Sanrio Chococat items. See what you think about those. They are usually with a turquoisey-blue color.
jacquero
Try Bed, Bath and Beyond website. Look up: Damask Comforter Set, 100% Cotton Sateen. The colors seem to be what you're looking for, don't know if the pattern is what an 11-year old might want.

Her sheets are white with black retro flowers and such and she has a hot pink satin comforter. We got all of it clearanced at wally world last year for about $20. natasha
Thanks for all of the posts! Sorry I went on vacation for a minute and was unable to check into these. She really likes the one on ebay with the weird shapes on it. I've never ordered anything from them. How does it work? If anyone finds something else, let me know. Steakgoddess
To use eBay, you will need to register an account before you can bid. That auction has a $40 shipping fee to it.
AndreaInNC
Do you sew? You can easily make a duvet cover from sheets (or inexpensive fabric for that matter) that would be a heck of alot cheaper than a comforter. She could then just cover her comforter in the duvet. That's what I do .. then I don't have to use a top sheet cause the duvet is made of sheets. And I can change the look of my bed as often as I want too!
