tags318
I'm a little confused, but having an HDTV tuner built into a display that is only capable of an ED resolution.....ah.....stupid? Do you plan to use this tuner on an HDTV capable display?
DaveSimmons
A 720p or 1080i HD signal downsampled and displayed at 752x480 will probably still look better than standard def signal. But this isn't the set to buy for use with an Xbox360, PS3, HD-DVD, Blu-ray or with a HD cable box. This is a good set for regular DVDs and regular TV that's $200+ cheaper than a HD plasma. JBKing
$200+ more for HD? I would either pay the extra to get an HD, or drop down in size and get a smaller HD for the same price. I can not understand why anyone would want an ED set. HDTV's are getting cheaper all the time, and you know you want one!
Ripn
YES, I do want HD! Our 15 year old Sony 32" is now B&W only
