Bopeep
Received this email at work from Pitney Bowes. Maybe this is nothing new, and I just never noticed before?? Ahead of the holiday season, the USPS has announced a temporary rate increase for commercial domestic competitive parcels. The new rates, which affect services such as commercial Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express packages, will be in effect from October 18 through December 27, 2020. The new rates will be updated automatically in SendPro® Online and SendPro® Enterprise subscriptions, on all connected SendPro® and Connect+ sending devices and on meters using SmartLink. Kanyon71
They raise their rates offer crappy service (at least 1 out of every 4-5 packages we ship end up broken because of their carelessness) and wonder why people use them less and less.

I wonder if there going to cancel the guaranteed service?

jesusluvu
That is a good idea. That gives a month to get it done and time to get the OE ornament on the tree earlier. Oh how I love this time of the year

Bopeep
I'll get the Secret Santa started this week, and make the deadlines earlier. Probably not shipping by October 17, but earlier, LOL.
Bopeep
So, seriously, what do y'all think of a November 30 shipping deadline? Is that too late? I'd like to keep it after Black Friday, but what say you?
tyreejames
So, seriously, what do y'all think of a November 30 shipping deadline? Is that too late? I'd like to keep it after Black Friday, but what say you?I think that’s a fair deadline. It allows everyone time to jump back in to the boards, a decent amount of shopping time, and hopefully enough shipping time.
