soonernstlouis
I have been trying for a couple of weeks to find the best deal on Six Flags season tickets at http://sixflags.com & other places (i.e. eBay) & stumbled on a change just made when you select Six Flags over Texas (Arlington) & add a local zip code. You now have the option of choosing Houston or Outer Markets (non-DFW zips) for $45/each. The only problem is the local zip that allowed you to select Season Passes won't allow you to change that zip once you've gotten that far. So this may only be available for Houston & non-DFW surrounding area residence. If anyone has ordered these Outer Market season tickets before, please let me know or pm me on if they check your address (I know they check your name/picture) when you go to redeem your vouchers. I have a Houston connection. The reason I am willing to take the Arlington season tickets is that we will be going there in July & would also like the season pass option for Six Flags St Louis. Sorry for the long thread or if this is confusing (aren't all good on-line deals!). edit: I found out why I can't order Arlington tickets from my home zip from their website:I entered my ZIP code as requested, but received a message telling me I cannot purchase a pass for the park I wanted. Why?For security issues with online purchases, your zip code must be within 300 miles of the park. If you live outside of that range, please purchase your pass directly from the park or select a nearby location.
happyrat
I know Six Flags season tickets are good at any park (except water parks) so just find the cheapest location near year, and buy that pass.

hpowers
I'm interested in the ones for St. Louis also. Did you find anything yet?
biomajor
The cheapest I've found for ST. Louis is to buy it in Louisville, but that's only $5 saved because it's $59.99. It's $64.99 if you buy 3 or more passes and kids under 3 get in free at Six Flags St Louis. I know that with Six Flags, KY Kingdom if you buy your pass earlier in the season it's a lot cheaper. I think my sister paid either $39 or $44 for her kids'.

allen6192
I'm interested in the St. Louis tickets also. Can't wait to see what you find.
soonernstlouis
The cheapest for St Louis is either online or at Schnucks for $65 each. For most of us, it's not worth the trip to Louisville to save $5/each. I was just commenting on the Arlington deal since I'm sure some posters are in TX & this deal was new to the six flags website. soonernstlouis
I called the season ticket support line (806-741-8172) & the lady had to ask her mgr twice exactly what I was asking. They say that the address you select the voucher to be shipped to will print on the voucher. This must then match your i.d. address when you submit at the park. Thus, this deal is good only for the Houston area 770-777 & 703-708 or within 300 miles of the park excluding 750-753 & 760-762.
genaa
Just to let you know the Six Flags in Houston closed last year. I think around May 2005. It has really gone "down-hill" the last few times we went. Many of the rides were closed and lots of trash in the park.
soonernstlouis
I was talking about Six Flags over Texas/Arlington. If you live in Houston, there is a special link at http://www.sixflags.com for a special season ticket rate. You being from Beaumont would be eligible for the Outer Market rate. allen6192
Do you get any special deals with a season pass like free parking, free tickets, discounts? We only go 2-3 times a year but if I can get some deals it may be worth buying 1 season pass
Ripn
A friend of mine with a Six Flags season pass took another friend to Six Flags in Gurnee IL using the "bring a friend free day" voucher. That friend was able to go to the season ticket booth and "upgrade" to a season pass for only $50. That is a $45 savings for the Gurnee IL park season pass! I was surprised to hear this, as I would think the park would want to see the single day ticket to allow the upgrade. But, it worked. :)
Ripn
More info... When you arrive at the park, you will exchange the voucher for a single day ticket. Then once inside the park, you go to the season pass area where you purchace the season pass. Since the park has been open for a few months now, they allow this. The "bring a friend for free day" voucher is only for select days of the season, so be sure to take advantage of this savings. Also in IL, Jewel food stores sell single day tickets for $25 (that's $20 off a regular 1 day ticket)...so for a total of $75 you could get a season pass by doing the upgrade. mom2thegirls
http://www.schnucks.com/entertainment/sixflags.html For St. Louis. A commerical has been running that kids 11 and under get in free and adults get in at the normal kids' price. I've pasted a link above. You might find phone number for a Schnuck's somewhere on the website to call.
USC Becca
there's rumors that the Six Flags in Valencia, CA (Los Angeles area) may be closed, so if you've been thinking about going, now is the time!
varnerific!
there's rumors that the Six Flags in Valencia, CA (Los Angeles area) may be closed, so if you've been thinking about going, now is the time! For this very reason, dh & I are taking a trip this weekend to Magic Mountain from AZ. The cheapest season passes we can find (since we're going for two days now, and will be back in October) is $69.99. Anyone know of a way to get cheaper season passes?
