Meltz
I know there was a digi-cam thread below, but I want to be more specific since I'm looking for a camera to replace my now busted Optio S4. There are several out there (Casio, Canon, Pentax, Nikon, Sony) and I don't know which to get. Any suggestions? On the only specs I have are at least 5 MP, have an optical zoom, and preferable be less than $350.
mrn8
Canon SD450 is under $250 at Dell right now and it fits your situation perfectly. You could go up to a SD630 with your budget if you wanted to spend on the high end of it.

My wife has a Casio, and although the pictures aren't quite as nice, she gets phenomenal battery life out of that thing. She took it to the desert on a 1 month deployment, took around 100 pictures, and never charged it.
Meltz
Yeah from what I've read Canon has the best image quality. But I do like the Casio form factor.
