DaveSimmons Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 Netflix will also be dropping to $17.95 next month, so if you watch a lot of indie films or films with subtitles (Japanese anime/samurai/psycho horror, Hong Kong martial arts/gun operas, French art films, ...) you might be happier with Netflix's better non-Hollywood selection.
BobbyDouglas Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Am I the only one who noticed Blockbuster has a "short wait" for a lot of the good movies?
Brad Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 I think they've had a big increase in signups over the past week because of the price cut. I think the fact that they give you 2 in-store rentals each month helps as it allows you to get some of the new releases without having to wait for them to be shipped.
Brad Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Blockbuster lowers monthly fee to only $14.99 now
Brad Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 3 movies out plus 2 free in-store rentals per month. Also: "For a limited time, sign up under the current offer and this price is guaranteed not to increase until January 31, 2006."
mikis123 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 The 2 free in-store rentals include movies and games.
RossMAN Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 The 2 free in-store rentals include movies and games. Thanks! I think we're really going to like this. BB's GameCube selection isn't that great but we'll probably try every game they have.
