Kanyon71
I would expect the payment is the same as if you looked on the providers website.
smurfgirl
Can you apply the gift card towards the purchase of the phone? I have done this at Best Buy before. That way it makes your monthly payment cheaper.
Monstermile
Can you apply the gift card towards the purchase of the phone? I have done this at Best Buy before. That way it makes your monthly payment cheaper.No. Phone has to be activated before the gift card becomes valid. It is like that everywhere. You sure what you used at Best Buy wasn't a gift card for a trade in?

landcbrewer
I don't see where it requires a new line, I too want to upgrade. I'm more concerned about "gotchas" that I might need to watch out for.And if I don't like it, is the 14 day return still available and what might it cost?I know Vzw requires a $50(?) restocking fee... landcbrewer
Also can it be done online?
kentslady
If you are doing Verizon, according to the worker I talked to today, you can upgrade. I,m wanting to upgrade two lines, but my store doesn’t have any 8s right now. I hope they get some by Thursday.

photographer
I just got home from my local Walmart after talking to a associate there as I wanted to get the iPhone XS Max, they dont even have any of those at any of the 3 local stores. So make sure your store has the one you want before you go and waste your time.

So make sure your store has the one you want before you go and waste your time. This was my experience too - we didn't get any iPhones is what I was told. Guess I'll try Target later today to see if I can get one.
wittenlover
My closest Walmart did not get any in, but the next closest one did. I missed the cutoff for the appointment line by about 12 people. Ended up heading to Target Friday morning and got my Xs 256GB without a problem, complete with $250 gc. Not a bad consolation prize.
