Gotta love Target's in store pick up

Was in Target today. Noticed that The Lion King on Blu-ray was marked $24.99 on the shelf. Remember it was $15 online yesterday so I checked and it still was. Ordered it while I was shopping and it was ready to be picked up before I left.

Last year I ordered a transformer toy online, it was cheaper online plus I had an online coupon code for additional savings. Well it was a hot item toy and when I went to Target to pick it up there was a man in there looking for that exact one. When he was told by the service desk they were sold out in store and online he was upset but got even more upset when he saw an employee bring mine up from the back.  He tried to take it claiming he was there before me. They store manager had to explain to the man a couple times that I had ordered and paid for it days ago and it had just arrived at the store for me to pick up that morning.

We use in store pickup often. Did it on BF with some luggage we ordered it online Thursday and picked it up Friday while in the store. Also all the Targets I have been to will usually match their online price, not sure if this is chain wide or if we have just been lucky.

I use it a lot too, especially since target is where I do my grocery shopping, so I'm there often.

A couple years ago there was an online only deal on an Xbox. I didn't really realize it was online only, so I first bought it in the store, because I had several gift cards to use, and you are limited online. When we realized it was different , they helped me combine my gift cards into one (but they wouldn't honor the online price), and I ordered it, did my grocery shopping, then as I was loading my groceries I got the pick up notification.

And last year, mama wanted 5 of something, but they only had 2 out. Website showed there was enough stock though. So she ordered it, and in less than 10 minutes it was ready.
