Buy online, pick up in-store on Black Friday?

May be a stupid question, but I was wondering if the stores allow this on Black Friday?

 

There are a few things I want to buy online and I don't want to fight the crowds or wait for them to ship.

Or take the chance of having my order canceled.

Some stores do, but you won’t really know which items are able to be picked up until the sale starts. And you’re always taking the chance that if you order when the store is closed (most online sales start late Wednesday night), that they might not pick your order until after the store opens Thursday and your stuff could have been taken by someone who got to the store right away.

Some do. I did it at Walmart last year and it worked out okay. Some stuff had to be ordered and shipped in which took a week or more. But I plan on doing it this year as well just be prepared if they try and cancel the order

I did this at target a couple years ago. Good point about the time they might pick your order, but it worked out well for me.

This is what I am hoping for. Annoyed about their time schedule this year, because I usually go around 6am when the crowds are gone.
