Percent off Target Gift Cards

The past couple of years Target ran a promo to get a percent off all gift card purchases. One year I think it was on Black Friday, another year maybe a week or so after Black Friday?

Anyone have any insider information if they might be doing this promo again this year?

Be careful. This thread (and linked press release) are not from this year. No discounted gift cards have been announced yet this year.
