I'm looking for a laptop

I'm going to use in home as personal computer, I need the processor speed to be at least 256MB, 40gb, good graphic card. better if it have wireless technology. thanks for reply,

 

my budget is 500-600.

 

please someone give me advice

Those specs you listed should only cost you around $400-$500. If you're willing to go up to $600, you should be able to snag something decent with 512mb, 60-80gb HD with a Pentium M.

 

I would watch for Dell deals. That will be your best bet.

On the same subject, I too am looking for a new laptop. I'd like to know the differences between Windows XP Professional and Media Center versions.

First of all :2welcome: to the forums :)

 

Windows MCE 2005 is based on XP Home but adds video, audio, pictures and TV features.

That's a heck of a deal, Ross!

 

The only thing that I would point out is that it doesn't have a built in DVD-burner, just a CD-burner. This may or may not matter to sadinuel. Sadinuel could always add a external DVD-burner if that became an issue...

 

And, that doesn't say if it has wireless internet or not.
