Never assume that a deal on a car is great just because a car salesman tells you it is, or because they slap the terms "Black Friday" on an ad. And as the article says, Black Friday is for buying, not for shopping, so start your research now. (This should apply to everything on Black Friday, but especially a car purchase.) Our friend who is a sales guy told me better prices are end of year when they are trying to up their finances. He said they want to move more units. I have been watching the prices myself and many dealers are offering $3000 off of most 2016 models. Unless you absolutely need a 2017, especially if they are doing a major upgrade to the looks or discontinuing the model the prices are going to continue to drop on the 2016s. Car we wanted turned out to already be sold, so we had to pick another car out and so forth. HOPEFULLY we can get everything worked out in the next day or so and be done with this. Nice thing is we are doing it all online so we aren't spending needless hours in the dealer with people pretending to haggle and actually probably talking about sports scores lol. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
