What do you think will be the "hot" items this year?

I've been searching for new toys/gifts and haven't found much.

 

Looks like video games and movies will be at the top of the list here.

There are several things that may be hot. I think with the new evolution of the 3D Headsets that there will be a few things to go with that. Robotics and educational type toys. I am hoping for a few surprises this year. Not getting my hopes up but fingers are cross for a refreshing Black Friday and NOT THURSDAY

Looking for a GoPro or equivalent.  Trying to decide if it will be an item this year or should I just go ahead and buy one for my grandson.

They seem to have some deals on them, I know at least 3-4 stores had various GoPro deals last year.

Thank you Kanyon71.  I don't want the top of the line.  This is for my 10 year old grandson to use in sports, etc.  But I don't want the basic that has to buy all of the accessories separate either.  Think I will wait on the purchase for a little bit.

 

Will probably opt to purchase one local or if online then a store that my daughter can access in case of the need to return, etc.  Have seen some good prices on Groupon but are off brands.  Afraid if there is a problem, she will have no recourse.

I'm hoping for some cell phone packages/calling plans now that competition seems to be heating up. I promised my daughter that we would add her to our plan and get her a "real" phone if she didn't lose her starter phone we gave last Christmas. My S4 is acting up and I would like a new one, too! I think accessories like attachable camera lenses will be big. 

 

I'm starting to see more and more ads for 3D printers. I have a feeling they will be big. I have a few in my Amazon wish list as gift ideas. Not sure I want to spend $300 or more, though.

I think this will be a hot item. I wish it was priced a little less and came with 2 controllers but I think a lot will play it a holiday get togethers.

I'm really hoping for a discount or great bundle deal on the Wii U...would like to get it for DD5; she loves all things Mario and with her age, there's no need to jump right to the new system that's due out sometime next year.

I have to admit that I'm anxiously waiting to see whats inside the Hatchimals lol I wonder if its something my 8 year old daughter will be interested in. I need to see if it would be worth $60.
