aaronwstewart Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Disappointing indeed! Won't bother going there
bluebear Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I wish I liked Rite Aid. Every so often I try, but it always turns out badly. I actually see a couple things I wouldn't mind going for, but I dunno. Their program just seems hard to use. We'll see, maybe ill get adventurous.
riven3d Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 they havent been around here locally in I think some 20 years at least
bribri25 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Some of the B1G2 stuff would be a good deal, but I don't think I've ever seen one around here and I bet most of the good stuff gets picked through pretty quickly. I sure wouldn't make this a priority on game day.
shoptillidrop2 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I usually look forward to Back Friday at RiteAid, it's one of the stores we actually have in this small town. I guess I have one less store to go to this year after the looks of that ad - last year I spent around $100 there (big money for me) but this year the ad is very disappointing.
rockpzazz Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Yeah, not seeing anything there. None near me though so no big loss.
mcwalker Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I still like their "Free after Plenti points" items (everything on scan pages 3 and 7) which is very similar to previous years. I agree with some that I find administration of the Plenti points program a little confusing compared to other programs, but will figure out my registration issue and make it work. I will be paying them a visit. I have been trying to hit all three pharmacy chains (Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens) on Thanksgiving morning before Thanksgiving festivities, or some other time when I am not working on major stores.
Deal Grabber Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I cant deal with this new program, need 2 to qualify and can never find 2 of same thing to buy, cant use plenti points on items that give points else you wont get them, to much of a hassle to me, nt that i blame stores i know the coupon thing was outta control, id rather pay retail and shop where ik ill get what i need
elena_398 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) their prices are so high to begin with, if you actually figured out the price even with the Buy 1 get 2 free its still not a great deal. I just got done opening another window and comparing these pricing with Walmart and its cheaper to buy 3 of their items than doing the buy one get 2 free on rite aids ( I was looking at the ibuprofen, dental items, etc). Very disappointing. Just give a Black Friday discount on ONE time like you used to. Edited November 13, 2015 by elena_398
MaryEllen2014 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Riteaid was just bought by Walgreens so maybe that's why the ad is so crappy?
elena_398 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I'll run in and out for the 2/$8 popcorn tins (my 21 and 15 1/2 yr old still wants them lol).
