Is anyone else as disappointed by the JoAnn ad as I am?  There is nowhere near the normal amount of stuff on sale.

I am going to go for the flannel sale, but nothing else really jumps out at me.

I usually buy all of my wrapping paper there because it is 99 cents on Black Friday, but it isn't on sale this year.

I am excited for the 75% off of the flannel and fleece.  There is also a 20% off your entire order coupon.  But the fleece and flannel sale begins on Wednesday.  I have to wonder how much will be left for Friday.

The ad is light because some of their sale item are on sale now thru Tuesday. I went earlier paid $47 saved $106. Go check your ad for this week, also get the app. 60% off coupon in the app right now.

Me, too. I'm hoping there will be some flannel left when I get off work on Wednesday.

Their ad is nowhere near as interesting as past years....  and I'm really disappointed that I'll have to schlep over there on Wednesday morning to get the fabric deals.  That's their best seller and I know they won't have much left by Friday.

That is what I am afraid of.  That there won't be any left for Friday.

Maybe I better go there on Wednesday instead.

What is the difference between the two fabrics?!I wanted to make blankets but I'm not sure you can with the flannel?

Flannel is cotton while fleece is polyester. Rag quilts out of flannel are simple and adorable (but quite time consuming). Fleece makes those easy knot blankets. Anti-pill looks better after washing and using than regular fleece. Flannel will show wear more than fleece and it will fray, while fleece will not.

I went to Joanns this morning, early early.  The cutting line was already to the back of the store, but it seemed to be going well.  Checking out was easy though, no one in line there.

Yeah, the store line goes straight from the fabric cutting to the checkout.  They should just have the register back there by the counter because that's 95% of what's being bought ;)

I just got back and there were only 2 people ahead of me in the cutting line. Our Joann's has a take a number system, so it was nice not to have to stand in line. They had plenty of flannel left.
