If I have some points to use and I use them on an item on black Friday that has a100% back in rewards offer on it, will i get those points or do I have to pay with cash to get the points? riven3d Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 from what i remember you can only earn points on how much money you actually spend on the item, so if you redeem points then those points that you redeemed would be taken of the price of the item and you would only gain the point from what is left, ie if item is $20 with 20,000 points and you redeem $1 worth of points you spend $19 you would get 19,000 points Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So if you use all your existing points to get it for free, you won't earn any back on this. Probably best to earn your 100% and use them later. They told me yes I can use points to purchase the item and earn points for the special reward items on black Friday. So if you have any points about to expire that one way of using them up and basically extending the length of time your points will be good. Because the new points you get you will then have 90 before they expire. The points I have now will expire the middle of January. riven3d Posted November 22, 2014 Share Posted November 22, 2014 Ok I just placed an order for the Sonic Swipe game, for $12.99 which i could of gained 129 points for it, I used a coupon bringing the price down to $7.99 which would of game me 79 points, i used the points i had 150 pts bringing my total to 7.84, i received 78 points.
