i wanted to buy some second hand furniture... which is the best place to look up?

Think that's going to be location specific. First thing I'd start looking is craiglist for your city - http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/ or check out the local freecycle - Cincinnati_Freecycle-4664 members US:Ohio:Cincinnati (inside city limits)

or CinciEast-1939 members US:Ohio:Cincinnati (Eastern Suburbs)

well the only problem with craiglist , that they wont be able to transport it , the ones that i liked... any other places... i am from cincinnati, ohio

Also added the 2 local freecycles (both pretty large @ almost 2K and over 4500 members).
