What size monitor are you looking for?

Do you have a DVI video card?

Are you going to use it for basic computer (internet, email, word processing) or for games and movies?

DVI is a digital video inteface - usually, that will be a white connector on the video card, rather than blue. Some have both.

I've got an Acer 19 inch lcd it's pretty decent but no dvi. I think it's going for slightly less than 250 at newegg now. It's not as good as samsung though.

Go with the Costco one. I didn't get the link from Tiger Direct to work, but they are notorious for not fulfilling warranties. The Sceptre monitor at Costco has gotten some good reviews from games, and Costco is a trustworthy company to buy from.

If you are choosing between the Sceptre and the Viewsonic, go with the Viewsonic. It has a higher resolution and has analog and DVI connectors.

You can use the $15 off $200 code for new buy.com customers by clicking on this link.

You can just plug it in and it will work.

However for optimal picture quality you should connect it via DVI. Your video card needs to support DVI. Look on Dell.com lookup your Dell service code, it should show if your PC came with DVI or not. You can always buy a video card with DVI from newegg.com for around $60 shipped.
