Something you will always remember.

I have one for ya, Friday I had to work and hubby was home, so I threw a turkey breast in a slow cooker and left instructions for him along with a meat thermometer. He said the first time he checked the internal temp, he knew it should have read at a higher temp- he forgot to remove the red plastic cover that you store the thermometer in.:insane::fryingpan Um derrrrr. It all turned it good and was actually the moistest turkey breast ever.

:yelclap:

finally admitted to SO what I did with the ham and he said he was wondering why it took so long to get done (5 hrs for a 13 lb ham) :) but in the end it finally got done just before everyone got here and turned out really good because it soaked that much longer in the ton of glaze I put on it.

My ham said cook at 325 for 1 hour, but over 1.5 hrs later it wasn't done. Had to cut it and microwave it. Not sure what we did wrong but oh well, it tasted fine, we just didn't tell the guests that we microwaved it.
