I saw this for the first time when I went to returns @ WM yesterday. I thought it looked cute & had no idea how much it $$. For the size of that sucker & (I think 6 songs), I didn't figure it would price the same as the singing bass, though!

my 5 year old daughter loves this. But I will not, I repeat, will not buy it for no reason anyone can ever give me!!!

My 3 year old loves it too! It was at the top of her santa list for a long time.I kept telling her it was to scary and made mommy cry. She still wanted it!

Hubby, dd, and I stood at walmart last night and watched that thing for like 10 minutes! LOL It was $88 last night! If I can find it for $40, I'll pick one up for hubby since he's a hunter and dd loves dancing to it! Plus, you can talk thru a mic on it and sing kaoroke (sp?) thru it! :P

I saw this at my WM about 2 weeks ago. I didn't know what it was I was hearing at first. Hubby had done something I think to turn it on when I was looking....jumped the crap out of me! He wants one...but I don't want that thing in my house. He will play it all the time to annoy me..like he did with the singing bird clock! LOL

That is almost as annoying as that talking and singing fish they used to sell!

There was at least 2 versions of the singing fish --- and they both were extremely annoying. I got one from a subordinate as a Christmas gift one year and it quickly was re-gifted complete with some fresh hi-capacity batteries. I also wired around the on/off switch so that the motion sensor was always active and the thing couldn't be shut off. :gd_devild

I've had the singing/talking catfish for a few years. It's in the bathroom; fortunately it starts when u turn out the light so it's too late to scare the crap outaya

This would go directly from my husbands hands to the bottom of our basement if we had one!

We made the deal that when we buy a house he can do with the basement whatever he feels. Hence this is where the football, Playstaion, stupid men crap will go!!! LOL

I can it down there- but NOT in my living room!! LOL He is a hunter also and he knew from day 1 no deer heads in my living room!

Not unusual... the man gets the basement, and the woman gets to decorate the rest of the house... Too bad I don't have a basement.

BTW, the Billy Bass talking fish, or whatever it was called, could be hacked... that was pretty cool.

I got one for my son for Christmas. It was on sale for $60. He loved it, it really looks realistic. Wrapped the electric cord in light colored tape to match the wall. His buddies love it, his dog hates it, especially when he saw his master go into his bedroom, but then josh's voice comes from the deer and the lips move. Dog gets really freaked out. Watches it out of the corner of his eye every tiem he walks by.
