hope1976 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I know there's a lot of after Christmas sales, but I want to know about the "hot" toys of the year.... Our daughter turns 1 a month after Christmas and I'm wondering if the "hot" toys of the year would be on sale after Christmas??? This way, I'll wait until then to buy her birthday presents

sheli Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I bought dd's birthday gifts on black friday. She'll be 1 on Jan. 2nd and the Fisher Price stuff was bogo. She is getting the whole Lil' People Castle with all accessories packs and I paid only $30 for all of it.

Also my cards etc. My daughter loves makeup so I buy the Walmart stuff for 1/2 off. Also the bath sets. In the last few years, I look forward to the day after christmas just as much as BF. lol
*sparkles* Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I'm not sure what the "hot" toys are :) but I do the same thing. Last yr we got tons of stuff after Christmas. We gave some to our dd on her birthday(april), we are giving her some this yr on Christmas and then more still on her 2nd birthday. We saved so much money and it's made the holidays so much easier. biomajor Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 My daughter's birthday is January 11th--There was always so much stuff on clearance after Christmas that she always got LOADS of stuff for her birthday. I still buy the holiday barbie after Christmas to give to her.
civicracinggirl7 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 my niece's birthday is january 3rd, so i'll be hitting some kind of after-xmas sale to get her a couple presents. you should be able to find deals the day after christmas, but that entire week they should also run some kinds of deals.
shopping mom Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 I bought our 2 year old to much for Christmas on purpose so I am saving things for her birthaday in March. My DH says she is still getting to much but I think she will have a blast. I know I will.
