Pliablemoose Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I'm a big DVD Shrink fan & have Blockbuster's unlimited rental program @ their local B&M store.
mugs Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I've only done it once, because I had trouble getting my second account started... Used to be you could do two accounts at one time, they may have reduced it to just one at a time because of abuse. Here's some info on how it works: text
bockchow Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 i've done the divx collecting thing before but i'm not realy poor anymore so i wanted to start picking up the actual dvds. i have onver 100 movies in divx still though.
Guest beatmix01 Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 always check out www.deepdiscountdvd.com
RossMAN Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 DeepDiscountDVD.com usually has the lowest price.
geekgirldany Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 ya!!!! Just found Xena Warrior Princess for $42 each. Seasons 1-4. Thanks Ross there goes some more money out of my pocket LOL I bought all of the seasons of Xena that came out so far for a friend. Got them from amazon and they were from $50 to $60. Now the older seasons are even more. What a great deal will have to post this at the xena group. Does anyone know of a good place to get VHS. I have been looking for some old WCW wrestling videos like Starcade, Great American Bash etc.? I've been using netflix to rent movies. I think some of them have got lost though. Turn around time has been around 1-2 days. Anyways I have a coupon for a month of free rentals from netflix if anyone wants it. Danyelle

geekgirldany Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 lol well the good thing is that I have my credit cards paid off so I don't have those bills to pay anymore and can get me some things
RossMAN Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 That's good to hear. Hopefully you can keep your cc's paid off :)
bockchow Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004 i'll take the netflix coupon, i'm switching to them soon from BlockBuster since i heard they had a faster turn around in this area.
geekgirldany Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 This is it. If it doesn't work PM me your email address and I will send you the coupon. http://www.netflix.com/Default?mqso=60187093
geekgirldany Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Oh and on the fast turn around... they do. I usually get the dvds next day or 2 days. They have alot of distribution centers so that helps. Alot bigger selection than blockbuster too. I returned 2 dvds on Thursday. But instead of putting them in the mailbox for the mailman to pickup I just dropped them by the post office because I had to buy stamps. Well I did not get my dvds yet. Usually I would get them on Saturday. I just got a email today from Netflix saying they had shipped them. Strange you would think they would be mailed faster from the postoffice than the mailman picking them up.
bockchow Posted September 14, 2004 Author Posted September 14, 2004 thanks for the coupon, i signed up added 101 movies to my queue and canceled Blockbuster. netflix site seems alot better to
geekgirldany Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 good deal I have a large list of movies myself in the queue
