Hi I was wondering does anyone know if they have ever offered the beats headphone on BF. I have never needed this type of thing before so never paid any attention but now one of my little sisters wants it so I need to find them.

If you check last years ad list many stores had them at 10% off. Best Buy, Radio Shack and HH Gregg included. Target had them for 179.99 but I have no idea what the regular price was. Keep in mind with Target you get an extra 5% off with their redcard.

I know when your kids want something it's not just about how good they are, it's about what everyone else has.  I went to Target the other day and checked out headphones because my 13 year old has been wanting some Beats.  I found a pair at target called SOL Republic and they blew Beats out of the water soundwise and pricewise.  I came home and looked to see if they had them on Amazon and they did, for half of what Target has them priced for.  If you have a Target near you, I would check them out.  DS will be getting them instead of Beats.   They even have interchangeable colored bands.

I haven't seen these on sale that often. I do recall last Black Friday they were about 10 percent off. The best time to buy these at a cheap price is when a new model comes out (the old model gets clearanced) or a store is no longer carrying them. Last year I was able to buy them for 50 percent off at Staples.

I got the studio ($299) at Target last month for $179 + instant $10 off + $10 GC. These were NIB. I also got a pair at nomorerack 2 weeks ago and they were only $139 but they were a refurb. Perfect condition and look brand new. I was very pleased but they didn't come with a box. BF 2012 the deals on the headphones weren't that good, most places only had them 10% off but BF2011 target and others had them regular prices with giftcards which was a way better deal. I'm looking for the cheaper solo beats ($199) still for DS8 and I'll pm you if I find a good deal. Keep in mind that if you buy the more expensive studio beats that they take 2 triple A batteries and the cheaper studio beats do not take batteries.

I saw the solo beats on 1sale.com for 129 if ur interested. I don't know which ones she wants though so was nervous to buy from them since it's non returnable.

These aren't pink, which DD wanted too, but I showed them to her and she likes them better. Plus, Amazon has them for 60 bucks!

Thanks, but she will not use earbuds(unfortunately) she says they bother her ears. I'm the same way so I can't fuss about it too much I guess. :)

One sale a day has them on sale today

Unfortunately, pink isn't a option. :( That's a good deal on them though!

Can I make a suggestion that if you are looking to spend that kind of money that you take a look at Bose earbuds instead. Sound quality is amazing and Bose products are VERY reliable!

Please, no offense intended, but while I do believe the Beats line of headphones are overpriced by half compared to their actual sound producing value, I believe Bose are even worse price/value wise.  Both companies have poured an enormous amount of money into marketing and that money has to be recouped somehow.  If you're buying a status symbol, then just admit to yourself you're buying a status symbol and be happy with your status symbol.  I don't think anyone denies that status symbols can bring much joy just by being a status symbol.  But if you truly are interested in value and sound quality, hit up some of the larger audiophile websites and see what they're talking about there.

Personally, I've been very pleased with Klipsch ear buds for value to price.  Relatively inexpensive at $50 on sale at BestBuy a couple years ago.  Very comfortable and great sound.  I can wear them for 8 hours a day with no fatigue (I do a lot of database report generating and analysis....lots of time sitting, coding, not leaving my desk...:)).  Back in the day, my dad had some nice ear phones that were HUGE and really heavy, but they sounded incredible.  Can't remember the brand...  Akai or Koss maybe?  Long time ago.  We're talking vinyl and reel to reel tape decks people...haha.
