daysangel Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I babysit for a friend twice a week (girl age 6 and boy age 4). They have many people that buy them gifts, and their birthdays are in October and December. I want to buy for them, but have honestly already had a difficult time figuring out what to get them for their birthdays that they don't already have. Do you think a 6 year old and 4 year old would enjoy gift certificates/cards or will they be completely lost about it? I was going to get them cards to a local indoor miniature gold and laser tag place, a cookie place right by the min golf, a fast food place, and maybe a few other places. Also, my two cousins are in college (18 y/o female and 20 y/o male). I was going to purchase a gift, but thought about putting together a food basket for them for their dorms. They have fridges and microwaves. I'd love suggestions on unique and fun ways to give the gifts as well. Thoughts? I'm too indecisive and DH is of little help! Lol TIA!

Can you take them there one day when you are babysitting and tell them this is their Christmas gift or maybe do a spa day and go get their nails and toes done? As far as your cousins, I think that's a great idea!

Kandy Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 the 18 and 20 yr old what about a gas card / GC for two to movie (so they can take a friend) and a few snacks sounds great to me.The 6 and 4 year I say take them to go play laser tag/mini golf - if they don't really need anything or maybe pick out one dvd you think they may like , a game and some snacks.
