looking for a deal on a stud finder....

and no, i dont need a new man, lol. one of them thingys that finds the studs in your wall of your house. i saw a real nice one at walmart from black and decker for 70 bucks, but thats a lil much for me since my dh wont use it often, just to have it. I got the idea the other day that he needed one when he was mounting a tv to our wall in the bedroom and was knocking along the wall to find a stud. can anyone help?

go to radio shack and look up stud finder,i sensor brand. they have them for 2.97 but i have the same exact one here. i got this for a fathers day present and he informed me he didn't want/need it.you can have this one for shipping if you want it.i don't have the instructions but it would be a fun stocking stuffer. color is red

That beats the Home Depot kit price... if a store around you has one in stock.

I got a Craftsman one at Sears last night for 19.99 for my Dad for Christmas. He has always just used the knock on the wall method. :) It was for 1 1/2 inch. They had a 3/4 inch one for 14.99
