Corpun
Well, my GF just busted the lcd on her digital camera so I'm trying to help her find a replacement but I really know not a whole lot about what really constitues a 'decent' budget digital camera. Anyone know of a good site to read up on what are some good choices so I can start to look for deals? Thanks!

alimfp
I agree with CheapArse, dpreview.com!! They also have awesome forums for a lot of the cameras (esp SLR's (expensive ones, lol)). :)

Marcster
I bought a Kodak Z740. It's a 5MP w/10x optical zoom. I really like it, and it was only $248 a few weeks ago at BB. The best deal I've found for it is this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16830170030$260.99 + $5.99 S/H www.stevesdigicams.com is a great place to do your research. alimfp
I personally have the Canon Powershot A95 ($400 new). But the Powershot line seems to be very nice and reliable. I love mine! We also had an Olympus and bought my Mother in Law one as well. Our Olympus was 3-4 years old and did very well, and we sold it to a friend and it's still working. Mother in Law's is very nice, it was $150 new from Target. I forget the specific model though. I highly recommend Canon or Olympus for that price range.
