freesia39 Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 there are never discounts. i heard of a backwards way of getting in - if you give a non member a costco cash/gift card, they will let you in for that time only. i'm not sure if it still works.
RossMAN Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I have seen some (rare) $10 off memberships for 1 year, but that's it. None that I can remember recently. The regular gold membership is worth every penny even if you don't buy 10 pounds of ketchup.

That was about 2 years ago & I didn't renew for the $45 fee. I like Sam's better myself. You may see if they'll come to your work & gice you 1 year free!
