BobbyDouglas
Anyone know the cheapest place to buy a copy of XP Pro with cd? The cheapest I could find was around $89 on pricewatch..
Guest beatmix01
Are we talking upgrade version of full version. Keep in mind you want to make sure that that CD is no just an OEM version w/o a license key. If you have any old copies of windows you can use the upgrade version but still do a full install. It will accept any Windows cd from Win98 and up. All you need to do is put it in the drive for a moment during the install.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that you can't, and I was rather annoyed.
Pliablemoose
Yes, you can, it's prob the only time you should upgrade Windows without a full reformat.

BobbyDouglas
I can get a copy of XP on CD, but a CD key only is ok as long as I can get a CD from a friend too.
