BobbyDouglas Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 For next year's Black Friday, I would love to be able to either order/print out GottaDeal flyers to pass out to people waiting. Maybe include something like a keychain, or something really cheap that will get people to remember it a year later, or even signup once they get back from their morning shopping. Anyone else see something that should be added/changed?
Guest general41391 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Who thinks that someone should stamp you as you get in line so they know what number you are??? If people stamped this year at best buy here is what the line would look like (out of 500 people) Starting with the first person and so on...so it should go 1,2,3,4,5...etc, but here is how my best buy went 1, 3,2,5,9,10,30,500,75,129,14,100,39,14,13,12,22,28,291,300,176,400,
Mike Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Im confused on how your bestbuy went. You mean for the vouchers?
Guest general41391 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I mean people in line from the back got up to the front and got everything good
Guest general41391 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 ^lol, i was wondering what happened
BobbyDouglas Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 I was actually wondering what GottaDeal could do better, not the stores. I don't think there is enough database space to discuss what the stores could do better. I am sure Ross/Brad would do what they could if they saw it would help. The price for flyers shouldn't be too expensive, and the turnaround on them might be fairly good. I think I only recruited around 3 people for GottaDeal, if I had flyers there would have been a TON more.

BubbleTea Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Oh yeah, I can't wait until next year's BF. It's so exhausting, but so fun.
dealluvr Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 just wondering what i would have to do.i always like going out black friday shopping.i never get too much so as long as i am out anyway i was thinking if i put an ad in the paper to black friday shop for people.i would do it for just one store probably but i bet i would have to be bonded or something as long as i have their money? any input appreciated
BobbyDouglas Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 Most items have a limit, and will only let you purchase 1 per person/household. Nice idea though... You would need to make sure you bring along a rather large gun to make sure the people who have been waiting in line for hours, just to see you take half the items, don't kill you.
abentley Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 Can I just asksomething? While I personally LOVE gottadeal.com, I am very picky about whom I "share" it with. I don't really like dealing with rude people on Bf , so I tend to not want to share this with them. I consider this place "my edge". While we all here are for the best, most accurate info on the best deals, and are discussing "improvements" for next year, who do want to have the advantage of info like we get here?
