ebony0421 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 we will be heading out in a couple hours:bunny:
bethc24 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I just drove by BB and CC are right next to each other. The BB people are smart and put their chairs out and are sitting in their cars. The CC people are stupid and there are 5 people sitting outside in the cold. Of course I want to go to CC...but it's 10 degrees and the wind chill is 10 below...why oh why?!?!!?
pcsoon Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Good Luck, I went by my local BB at around 6pm and there was already at least a doz in line. :)
Mommie2one Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Thank god Im not going to BB. Im leaving for Walmart at 2am. I don't need a computer, but some of the toys. Im going that early to be nosy and see how many are there for the laptops. The store is open so I'll be waiting inside. If it was outside, I would be skipping it. Negative numbers on temps right now with the wind chill

I could see people just bypassing the chairs or moving them.
missyjane Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It does sound like a bad idea. I don't think I'd risk leaving a chair behind, but I'm not out in the 10* weather right now either.:)
Guest mldepalma Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 in on the berlin turnpike in newington, crThat would be Newington, CT? I was wondering what time I should go to the BB in Danbury, CT. It is a very new store - just opened - so I am hoping not that many people know it is there. Any thoughts as to how early to get there - I am only looking for the camera and a few other minor things... Thanks

Would you mind keeping us updated every so often and tell us how many people are in line with you during the night? I am curious to find out how early the big masses get there. I think I am going to try to head to bb at about 3:30 - I need a little sleep but I hope it isn't too late. Stay warm ultravorx!
Mommie2one Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Im going to get dressed shortly for Walmart. I have several items to price match so I want to get them in my cart and ready to go when 5am hits so I can get the BF deals there. I think I'll leave the house around 1:30am or so
Marcster Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Sounds like a recipe for confrontation unless they get in those chairs before anyone else gets in line. I could see people just bypassing the chairs or moving them.Or using the chairs thinking that employees set them out for customers....
ultravorx Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 right now at 1220am we have about 15 people. still in cars keeping order. frank
Guest mldepalma Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Thanks, keep updating us. Stay warm.
ozobbozo Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 right now at 1220am we have about 15 people. still in cars keeping order. frankTo me, if someone goes and stands by the door, they are first, you people in the cars don't count....
ozobbozo Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 sterling, virginia About 30 people in line at both best buy and circuit city. The circuit city line had two tents set up. the best buy line had about 10 people, then 3 empty chairs, then about 20 more people. I asked the people in the line what was the proper "line ethic"...told them they should move the 3 chairs to the end of the line... Here they are freezing their butts off and these people are sitting in their cars. Didn't get much reaction although a few people nodded...went on down the line and by the time I got to the end of the line the people were back in their chairs from their cars... If I was next in line, I would have told them, if you leave again were moving in front of your chairs...

Guest general41391 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 At 11:30 p.m. at Best Buy there was 50 people in line. now there is well over 200
