Bestbuy7 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I cant believe my BB is only having only 10 plasmas and 10 computers. I asked my boss if i could put one on layaway [hey...i work here dont i...] and he said no [WTH, what am I working there for , jeez.] I swear i will be quiting.........................sometime in the future;)
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 That is a small quantity, when I used to work at walmart they let the workers get stuff.
alimfp Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Way too small of a quantity. I understand in a sense why they have limited numbers, but c'mon, a bit more would be nice. Some of us don't bother going for such deals as getting them is HARD. Argh!
DB_Cooper Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 bb (among other stores) has lots of limited quantity "loss leaders". They might make little or nothing on them, but they hook the customer into getting ready to shop, whetting their appetite, so that when they get in the store they are gonna buy something. Hot Items gone? No problemo, plenty of other (more profitable) stuff to steer them to. Seriously, they couldn't get more than 10 "24" DVD's per store? (check the ads) Anything to entice the bargain hunter in us all. All worked up and then pfffffft. Minimum quantities are just enough to avoid getting hit with "Bait & Switch" actions from TPTB.
Guest general41391 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 It says "MININIUM 10" (for the 24 DVDs) not MAXIUM. My location has well over 10...likke 20-30 to be exact.
Ez74 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 you can order the "24" dvds online right now for the $19.99
