Miranda1313
Actually yes I think I will go earlier than planned. I was originally going to go to Wal Mart at about 3 am, but since I found out that the items I want are so in demand and the fact that I want to price match at the checkout I think I will get there at about 1 or 1:30 and hopefully get all I want VERY close to after 5 and get out of there for the next store! Miranda bf is coming!
SuperMommy
Actually, yes. After seeing the Circuit City ad I have decided to get there about an hour to an hour and a half earlier than I originally planned.

christmasangel
Actually my first store is Sears- which around here is pretty darn packed- but if you are there about an hour before opening you are NORMALLY fine- we will see if this holds true this year- I will be getting there around 5 and waiting till the last possibly moment to get out of my car (lots of cold and snow) (tools for hubby, flannel sheets, cd/radio for kitchen, and first 200 get $10 g/c, heck $10 is $10 right!? LOL)

venerdinero
Nah. It's just a lot of hype. <stay away> I'm going to Comp-USA for Midnight Madness then home for a nice long nap. <stay away> Somewhere around 4:15 I'll get up and have a nice leisurely breakfast:hungry: . Around 4:40-4:45 I'll depart for BB to get my laptop when the doors open at 5am. I doubt there will be more than 6 people out there in the cold and snow <stay away>, besides, NOBODY is going to wait in line all night in front of BB just to get such an underpowered laptop. All the smart shoppers <stay away> will be at CC or WM or Target or MicroCenter or Meijer busting down their doors for their TREMENDOUS deals!! <stay away> Just 5 or 6 of us will even bother going to BB - only because we have these silly coupons that McDonald's gave us - otherwise we wouldn't bother either. <stay away> I wish I could join you all at all those other stores where the great deals are! Too bad I'll be stuck all alone at BB. <stay away> Maybe next year I can go somewhere else. Remember, NOBODY wants to go to BB <stay away>this year. Go somewhere else <so I can get what I want> this year. Did I mention that my 17 friends and I have all 18 psa slots locked up from 5am until 6am <stay away> and that we have each requested that every single doorbuster item be pulled and reserved for each of us <no really, stay away>. DaleRider
Since my wife and I are both off until next Monday, we're actually adjusting our sleep patterns over the last few days to sleeping after noontime and spending the night awake. Of course, readjusting will be cruddy, but thankfully she's the first going back to work. Thankfully, she's on evening shift (4PM-MN), so she won't suffer too badly. Our plans are to arrive at the stores by 8PM and check out what sort of lines are already formed.
Jasonlh1
Does anyone know what the earliest time someone got to best buy?
DaleRider
Does anyone know what the earliest time someone got to best buy? Last year a family in an RV said they'd parked in BB's parking lot at 6PM on Thanksgiving night. Stayed in the RV until they saw the first car pull in and then went out to claim first in line. They'd already had their chairs put out, though. We were the first car to pull up.....we got there at midnight.
Jasonlh1
I think that 6:00 is way too early to get in line.
queenofshopping
definitely, first i was going to go for 4, then pushed it back to 3:30, now im wondering if even 3 will be early enough...
Elsie
for those of you going at 10 and even midnight...when do you sleep to be rested for the whole day of shopping???I'm only going to CC and maybe one other store (don't know which one yet...maybe JC Penney) so I plan to be back home no later than 8:00 a.m. and then I'll probably try and take a nap. I started with 10 p.m. at CC, but I'm getting nervous since this is my first early BF and I really want to make sure I get a Laptop so I think I'm leaving my house at 8:45 p.m. CC is only 10 minutes away from me.
