I've been looking and the cheapest I can get the set (elf with book) is around $25. Do they ever get cheaper than that? Or should I go ahead and get it? I've found a similar elf on the shelf that is cheaper and cuter for $20 @ Amazon. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001JTDL1Q/ref=gno_cart_title_4)

Target has it in their BF ad for $29.95 and you get a $5.00 gift card. If you have their Red Card you can get it a little cheaper, but $25.00 is a good price. I think the only way to get it any cheaper is with a good coupon to a specific store. Does Kohls have it? Maybe use Kohls Cash to get it if they carry it.

I can say that I was hoping to pick one up on clearance last year, but stores seemed to sell out before Christmas.

I signed up with the kids program on the Barnes and Noble website and they sent me a 30% off coupon. I was able to get the elf and the book for $20, I bought some bath crayons for $4 to get the free shipping. Good deal if you want the books only. Edited December 1, 2012 by revecca
