riven3d Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 really? glad I dont shop there but im sure some will go spend the $40 just to get the free game
mtsuboy Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I may go for the game also. It's regularly $59.99. I ordered a copy with my new Wii U system but can always return it and keep the free copy.
Brad Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 The fine print says they will be doing wristbands and there will be an EXTREMELY limited number of them, so don't get your hopes up unless you plan on waiting in line for a few hours.
cx3girl Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Wow, kinda sparse.Totally Sparse...I'm thinking there has to be more to go with it. These are just the doorbusters, right?
BridgeIU Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 No fleece pants?! I was in line for 2 hours last year hoping to get a wrist band for rock band - but they handed the 3 bands they had out waaaay before opening time, while I was shopping at TRU. If you really want the game, get in line CRAZY early.
fabnsab Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Anyone know if they ever do online BF sales?they only sell plus size clothes online and I was hoping to get some items. Sucks if not
BFQueenofNY Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Old Navy free giveaways are always very limited, they never have alot cashiers and I have never been in one on BF where you can get out quickly. That is definitely a loyalty shopper store on BF in my opinion
pogiporkchop Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 This will be a maybe stop for me. We'll see what the coming days bring.
Erdica Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Totally Sparse...I'm thinking there has to be more to go with it. These are just the doorbusters, right?I work for ON and yes this is just the door busters. Almost all retail stores just put their biggest things in the ad. There's always more stuff in the store on sale.
riven3d Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Almost all retail stores just put their biggest things in the ad. There's always more stuff in the store on sale.dont know where you have been, but almost all put everything they will have on sale in their ad.
tyreejames Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 dont know where you have been, but almost all put everything they will have on sale in their ad.In years past, ON's ad was several pages almost like a little leaflet of sales. I tend to stop in on Thanksgiving but this is underwhelming....I was hoping for $5 pajama pants again.
Erdica Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 dont know where you have been, but almost all put everything they will have on sale in their ad.As with most store, they can't possibly put EVERYTHING they have in the ad. It would be a catalog not an ad. Whether it's a typical Sunday ad or a Black Friday ad, they put the things that will get customers in the door, then "surprise" them with other sales. You go looking for X laptop but oh look...we've got these printers on sale too! It's the same for groceries. They can possibly list every single cereal, fruit, cheese, etc. No the list the big ones on sale so you come in the store in hopes that you will walk around more and buy more.
cx3girl Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Even a typical Sunday ad is bigger than one page! I'm still hoping for a companion ad with deals that are good all weekend to go along with the door busters.

Mostly hours and just what to expect from crowds.
cx3girl Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I agree.....sadly we weren't told much at the Holiday meeting. Mostly hours and just what to expect from crowds. Does that mean you'll be working on Thanksgiving/Black Friday?
sxw921 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Do we know if ON Card Holders will get the Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving again? I have done this the past two years and it rocks!!! No long lines to deal with and better selection. Not eligible to get the free game but like others have said they only give away a few. I prefer to get in and out one last store I have to worry about visiting at midnight on Friday.
sxw921 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Me too I was a little upset with $8. Last years they had them on sale after black Friday for $6 (?) and you could use a percentage coupon on them so it came out to be cheaper than the $5 on Black Friday. Hope they do it again.
Erdica Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Does that mean you'll be working on Thanksgiving/Black Friday?Thanksgiving is volunteer. BF is mandatory. I shop do shopping first, come home and rest then go in and close. It's an extremely long day...but it's fun at the same time. I love BF!
Brad Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Replaced the scans & PDF with the full ad and updated listing as well.
Tigger97498 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 For once they need to do Jingle Jammies on Friday not Saturday. They do them on Saturday every year and it just boggles my mind. I for one dont go back out Saturday thats my Christmas tree day.
catholicbride11 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I've never shopped Old Navy for Black Friday- is it wise to show up to get a few things you want, but don't really need or not worth the time if you plan on making it your very last stop? Of course I know every store is different, just trying to get a feel for how ON does BF.
Bstar0306 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 So this is retarded. The coupon on the back says on Thursday you get $10/$50 purchase but all the sale are for Friday and Saturday!
angelic680 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 charged all mine stuff already..now all i gotta do is go in and have them price adjust it during sale hours!!! LoL If they give me a hard time return and rebuy!
jelee3 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Last year Old Navy/GAP card holders could get the deals on Thursday. Is that the case this year too? I don't see anything that indicates that.
