len_mullen
Our company is set up by territories, we don't go out and pound on doors (at least not in a literal sense). We are each responsible for a certain geographical area so we don't cross paths. There's a lot of overhead in making our sales, so the fewer sales it takes to make your goal the fewer company resources you have to expend to do it. But your point is well taken. All other things being equal, a customer will buy from whoever has the best price. It also explains why people complain about Walmart but still shop there. But if this were always true, then why do people still buy from higher priced retailers when the particular merchandise is the same?Lucky you! Target is not so lucky. Iliveforblckfri
I'm going to miss the Target Black Friday commercials. I've never gotten much from Target on bf though, it's always such a mess that I generally just price match their ad at Walmart.I agree. I wasn't thinking much about the Target announcement until you said this. I guess I will be searching on uTube.

AshJs3
I'd much rather have a better selection over cheaper prices. I cannot WAIT to see the Neiman Marcus for Target stuff!

rogue1230
For a store that is not participating in the BF sales, they certainly were working hard on their upstacks of inventory on the shelves yesterday. I saw oodles and oodles of the typical cheap board games like Sorry, Operation, Monopoly, etc and the employees were stacking furiously!
freesia39
They've slowly started to release some of the Niemans/Target Holiday Collection. This girl's dress is adorable. Wish I had kids to put it on: http://l.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/9lvmXVhqHqV7vVHxMPCP1A--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7Zmk9aW5zZXQ7aD05NDU7cT04NTt3PTYzMA--/http://l.yimg.com/os/590/2012/10/16/Jason-Wu-for-Target---Neiman-Marcus-Holiday-Collection---Girl-s-Solid-Dress-jpg_114820.jpg It is $60.00... It's also available in kind of a cream with polka dots and a white lace collar. I LOVE it. I have some of the pieces from Jason Wu's last Target collection and I get compliments on them ALL the time. http://gma.yahoo.com/photos/target-neiman-marcus-holiday-collection-slideshow/target-neiman-marcus-photo-1768299565.html Of course, I'm not paying $50 for a yoga mat - psh. I think mine was 20 off of Amazon.

oandesmom814
The line at our Target is always totally crazy. I never end up with much there anyway, so I will make this a later stop this year!
