When they marked down to 50% this year I was there and it was on a Wednesday, but some stores are slower than others so I have known some stores to go on Wednesday and then others to go on Thursday. lauren.christy Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 The weirdest and most annoying thing about the clearance stuff is that not all the same stuff is on clearance at the surrounding stores. I found all kinds of things in the baby clearance that was half price at one store but full price at another. The same thing is happening with the toys. It makes it where I am becoming a regular at all the area stores, and living in central Oklahoma there are a lot of stores within a short distance. The closest store for me is the MWC store or the one on SW 44th, but I will make the rounds after those 2. Where are you at? It smore 25% right now and maybe it will drop down after most of the good stuff has sold.No idea where you are, but I am in CA and there are no 25% markdowns. The toys are mostly 30% - 50% now pretty much across the entire LA area and everywhere else in CA that have reported, except you. We are talking toys only right now. The only exception will likely be Legos, most of which have only been going to 50% in most stores the last few cycles. Where are you, anyway?
