beck6100 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Our walmart had alot of stuff but big lot didn't have much at all.
NicM87 Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 I picked up 7 rolls of gift wrap today at Wal-Mart for 50% off. I went to three Wal-Mart's and all still had a lot of holiday items. I also went to Dollar Tree, Target, CVS, and Walgreens which all had their holiday items at 50% off. I too wonder when things will hit 75% off. At that point, could you price adjust holiday items you bought at 50% off? Or is that a no-no?
lukesmom01 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) You can not price adjust at Target (on seasonal stuff) but you can buy the exact item at 75% (if they still have it) then return that one with the receipt from the 50% off one. But that is a YMMV thing. Edited December 29, 2011 by lukesmom01
tinkrbel Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I have occasionally been able to return stuff bought more expensive and had mom behind me say she wanted it and they let her purchase at Target but not all CS reps allow that.
tinkrbel Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Any ideas when/if Sears will hit 75%? I saw a nice set of shatterproof ornaments and the perfect red tree skirt
NicM87 Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 Wal-Mart has gone down to 75% off in some areas. I hit up one today and got some ornaments and stocking stuffers for next year.
leefamily23 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Our Walmart was still only 50% and they have a ton of stuff left. The entire garden department is still full. I hit up Walgreens too, ironically this was my best buy last year for wrapping supplies. They are only 50% still and really picked through. Except candy, they had a lot of 50% off candy. Our Target was 70% off today, and I got some ornaments and tissue paper there. The only wrapping paper they had left was Justin Beiber and no packs of boxes. Another item I usually get after Christmas for next year.
Elmck Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 According to the employees at Walmarts in my area Christmas paper and ornaments (items still at 50% off) should be 75% off either Monday or Tuesday. This is in Chesapeake VA. I have stocked up on a lot of things for birthdays, 2012 stockings, and even next Christmas. I am still hoping to score a few things at Target if it goes to 90% if not that's okay too.
mollannie Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 70% at Target. What happened to 75% as in the past years?
Kim3498 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 My Wal-Mart's still 50% but local Kmart dropped theirs to 75% yesterday. I bought a new tree skirt, some ornaments, outside tree and outside decorations. They had lots of stuff left. Candy was still 50% though.
tinkrbel Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Sears and Kmart both went 75% today. Kinda bummed the tree skirt me and mom's bff wanted from Sears was sold out but got a different all red one from Kmart. Managed to walk out of Kmart with only the 2 skirts, 2 packs of gold bows and 2 container of jungle bell ornaments:) We're set for the tree to be put up in either gold, red or silver next year. I think we may go red or silver since we're still missing a gold tree skirt/tree topper.
HansieDZ Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Walgreen's Christmas candy is 75% while their other things (decorations,cologne/makeup gift sets) are at "50% and more".
NicM87 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 I got packs of ornaments at Wal-Mart today that we're originally $3.27 and were ringing up .25. Quite a steal!

alexle2007 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 TRU is at 90% off!!! I think I stocked up enough Wrapping paper until my 4 year old graduates from high school. Hard to pass up $.40 a roll for quality wrapping paper.
peppysfireball Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Shopko is 80% off . THey still had tons. I bought a lot of metallic wrapping paper and boxes. Using the metallic this year ruined me. I will never use cheap paper again. My sister bought the foil wrapped chocolates to freeze.
Stowasser Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 does bath and bodyworks do a sale higher than 75%?
HansieDZ Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 does bath and bodyworks do a sale higher than 75%?I know I got baskets last year after Christmas for 90% off but I don't think I've ever got any products at 90%.
Kim3498 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 My local Kmart just marked their Christmas decorations down 90% this morning.
peppysfireball Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Our Kmart is still 75% off. I bought my tree today. I've been looking for one a few years, but never hit the right time. I called and they said they had about a dozen trees left. I bought the most expensive one. It's a Jaclyn Smith 7.5 foot Sherman Pine with clear lights and a rotating stand. I am so excited. No more Charlie Brown real trees. I will go to pick it up Friday, didn't hve time yesterday. If they have marked theirs to 90 when I get there, I will just return it and rebuy at lower price.

I bought my 7.5 Martha Stewart prelit with color lights 2 years ago or I would have bought one at 90% off for sure.
HansieDZ Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 90% off at Toys R Us-mostly just candy, candy canes, stockings left but I had $4 in Rewards to spend and filled up an entire bag of stuff for FREE!
AndreaInNC Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 My Lowes was taking an extra 75% off all christmas stuff today. I picked up outdoor full size fall and winter flags for $1 (originally 15.99). The wrapping paper holder was 2.24 (originally 8.98). I found the one set of LED dancing lights for 2.81 (marked 44.00 - rang up 75% off and he gave me another 25% off!).
