Dylansmommy Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Just went to redeem my B&N giftcards I purchased, and I'm getting an error. I can't even access the site. Anyone else???
racerfan Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I have not gotten my email yet saying the deal was ready. Waiting for that.
Dylansmommy Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 Maybe the site is having technical difficulties. I thought the card was able to be redeemed on the 12th. I'll wait and see what happens.
racerfan Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 As far as I know the way they work is they send you an email when you can redeem. I bought movie tixs from them and thats what happened. The were delayed a bit with the movie tixs so it was not active until the day after they said it was. I have not really had any problems with them. I love their deals.
amyaj Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I was able to redeem mine at around 12:03. Said it will arrive in 5-7 days.
christina5704 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I was able to redeem mine too earlier and I didn't get an email. I just signed on and there it was.
mcwalker Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Update on SaveMore: I ordered the Barnes & Noble card back in December and received it. After that, I ordered three more deals, a Burger King card, an Overstock.com card, and a Walmart card/Dining Dollars deal. Despite trying to call (they NEVER answer the phones and provide no other contact method or real address), I never received the other items. I was wondering whether they were just incompetent/overwhelmed, or outright fraudulent. I just called my credit card company to reverse the three charges, which they will do. The person I spoke to, who obviously handles a lot of issues with many companies, said he has had other complaints specifically about SaveMore and that they seem to have a pattern of fulfilling one or more initial deals, then ignoring others in a fraudulent manner. Their overly complicated timing system seems geared to this deception. You might get what you pay for, but there is a very good chance you won't. I advise people to avoid Savemore.com. (BBB online also gives it an F rating.)
racerfan Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I have been in contact via facebook. They still owe me for the order of an Autozone card and now am getting no responses

They refunded me my $.
tthurber Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Good to know that I probably will never see my BK deal... Why have they not been driven out of business, if they're committing fraud?
