sbhiggins Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I'm having a dilemma-- should I go ahead and pre-order Friends season 10 from Amazon.com for $29.24 (free shipping, no tax, plus an extra 1.57% off for their A9 discount, plus X3 reward points on their credit card) or should I hold out for a BF deal? I was really counting on BB for this but now it looks like Target would be the only option left. Ergh, what to do?
justbarbour Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 There were 10 seasons of Friends? Holy cow. You might wait and see what BF deals are coming around - I can easily see that box set being $15 somewhere.
dremerda999 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Walmart is advertising the Friends box sets as $19.86. I would think that would include season 10, it does not give any exceptions.
becca0884 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 In next weeks Target ad (11/13-11/19) the Friends box sets are like $19.XX, but it does say that it will only be seasons 1-9. So.... I'm not sure if Wal-Mart will include #10 into the BF sale.
blakes_mommy Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 They had seinfields out last year for like 20ish bucks and they had just came out. I would wait but that is me.
sbhiggins Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 That's what I had assumed, but it would be great if the Walmart ad did include Season 10!! In next weeks Target ad (11/13-11/19) the Friends box sets are like $19.XX, but it does say that it will only be seasons 1-9. So.... I'm not sure if Wal-Mart will include #10 into the BF sale.
Jenniferharrison82 Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I seriously doubt they will have it for 19.99, even on smallville they only had season one and two, season 3 and four were still $30-$40 (at walmart) I would go with amazon, sounds like a good deal.

I am betting it won't be any cheaper elsewhere.
sunprincess831 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I'm dying to have the season 10 as well (absolutely LOVE Friends), but I'm waiting to see if anyone has them on sale....I think last year Wal-Mart had the newest season on sale!
purplecrush Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I am too waiting for season 10, but I doubt its going to be cheap as its just coming out and people are waiting for it. I have all the other ones and just need this last one! I cant wait!! YAY!!
Marcster Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I just heard that there will be a "master set" with all 10 seasons in one box. I wonder how much that will cost?
sbhiggins Posted November 11, 2005 Author Posted November 11, 2005 You can pre-order this from Amazon.com as well. It's $195.98. A great deal if you haven't bought any of them yet! I just heard that there will be a "master set" with all 10 seasons in one box. I wonder how much that will cost?
Mike Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 The deal for Friends will be this upcoming week. BestBuy and CirucitCity have a good deal going.
sbhiggins Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 OK, Target has it for $27.99 this week, a couple of bucks cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. I guess I'll get it there, or else if I'm feeling energetic, I could buy at BB and then get their price guarantee using the Target ad. Thanks for all the suggestions!
