sports mom Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Just a piece of advice- Never order anything that you really want from Radio Shack.I stayed up til after midnight on Wed nite to purchase the XBOX 360 with Kinect. Order was placed & received. Thought everything was good. Nothing stating unavailable. Now over a week later Radio Shack sends me a email to apologize that they have cancelled my order. Of course you can't get that deal anywhere else now. Had I known when order was placed that they even had limited quanities I could have gotten this at Walmart or Target. DO NOT ORDER FROM RADIO SHACK!!!!

tokanm Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I would call corporate offices and complain, that is just unacceptable! Radio Shack must have at least 1 system somewhere in their inventory. I would also tell them you are going to let it be known what poor service this is (via facebook or consumer agencies etc)

She had it in her hands when they told her she couldn't walk around with it ( she was standing in line) they would hold it behind the counter for her. Another salesman sold it to someone else, not a pretty site.....

happy410 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I have to say Radio Shack has treated me very well over an exchange of my camera, First one would not focus. All the sales people were very friendly and helpful. I felt I needed to put this out there. I complain if there is need to complain but I also compliment were compliments are deserved. But I'm sure the lady I mentioned in my above post still doesn't have any compliments:no:

Walk in the store, I am the ONLY customer, 2 employees are chatting and texting behind the counter. I ask where something is, one reluctantly stops texting, rolls his eyes and points to the rechargeable betteries I asked about. They are 10 bucks higher than anyone else in town and I point that out. "You want it or not, lady?" Rolls his eyes again and goes back to chatting with his co-worker. I emailed corporate about my experience. I NEVER got a response! Not even a "form" letter! Radio Shack does not care about it's customers at ANY level!!! I am surprised they are even still in business at all.

Rose0426 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Same thing happened to me except I ordered 2 HTC Wildfire phones for my sons. Order went thru, confirmed, then I get an email a few days later saying it is cancelled. I called corporate and they were no help. I put a post up on facebook, and am waiting for a response from them. Of course, today they have the phones again, but for $50.00 more. I will keep complaining until I get them for the $99.00 price. If I would have known how bad they were online, I would have gone to the store. I know now for next year.
