I was wondering if giving mrs fields chocolates or other fine chocolates wrapped in boxes was acceptable to teachers. Will they eat that since it isn't homemade? I really cannot do gcs this year. I have 9 teachers to buy for. Thanks,

Most teachers won't have a problem with candy/chocolate. The homemade stuff should be fine too. My school district doesn't allow us to give the kids homemade stuff, but the teachers can do what they want.

I'm wondering...Are you thinking of buying a big box and splitting it? If so they may treat it like homemade. You;'re probably better off buying a set of stuff at BJ's/Costco and splitting into individual boxes.

Walgreens will have the chocolate covered cherries on sale soon and most people like coffee, you could maybe do a box of chocolates and flavoured coffee from targets dollar spot if that's not beneath you:P

i saw boxes of candy about 1 lb each wrapped. i wouldn't split them up:) lol That'd be really cheap.

I think that sounds fine then. I don't see why they'd throw those out, maybe re-gift them if they don't particularly like or give out at parties or something:P

I buy boxes of chocolates at CVS when they go BOGO. The school bus driver, the 2 teachers, the nurses at the pediatrician's office share a box and the mailman. I also buy 1 or 2 more for "emergencies".
