Cblaramore
I printed out some online coupons for some DVD's I want to get my ds for Christmas and all three of them were not at my local Walmart (so can't use my coupons). I've checked out Amazon, Walmart.com and DeepDiscount. com for some prices. Does anyone have any other place they go to to get good deals on DVD's? I'm sure they will all be on sale bf but all dvds/games are gone at my local Walmart by the time I make it to them. Thanks for any help!
mom2monkiesx3
Do you have a Target? I'd keep checking with Amazon though, I got AMAZING deals on DVD's last christmas through them, add them to your cart and then check for price changes everyday...HTH
Cblaramore
That's a good idea! I never thought of that! No, no Target. I live in the "sticks" so we only have Walmart and its 20 mins away.
AndreaInNC
You can try Best Buy - they are doing fee shipping.
tinkrbel
amazon is usually pretty competitive if you have prime or can get free over $25 shipping
JTSquared
I'd keep checking Amazon for the best DVD deals. I bought close to 50 movies through amazon last year and only paid around $5.00 for each one and some were even lower. They offer great markdowns as well as great daily deals as well. The best way I have found to track prices on Amazon is to "wishlist" your item of choice. What amazon does its it notifies you when you are viewing your wishlist if the price has dropped and it also displays how much of a % of the drop in price it is too. Pretty great for some items as well. You'll have to check at least every 2-3 days but its worth it.
allshoppedout
What about f.y.e. ? they are known for good deals, but I don't know about shipping as I have only been in their store once or twice and haven't ordered online. I think it is the week after thanksgiving, but I could be wrong, Amazon puts MANY DVD's on sale different hours, for several days in a row, huge variety... box sets, many genre. tinkrbel
What about f.y.e. ?do they still exist? Ours closed a while ago. I apologize for Amazon comment as they don't take coupons and that is what question was originally about. Walgreens announces some new releases so they MAY have some? If they're new releases and you have a membership you could try bj's/costco but I don't know how good they are with prices. Bj's occasionally has good release prices. allshoppedout
in PA there are 46 F.y.e. stores....not sure about other places. I missed the coupon part too :)
Kim3498
I bought the majority of my dvd's on Amazon last year. They had great deals the entire week of Thanksgiving in their Gold Box and Lightning deals. They matched everything Walmart had that I wanted on dvds on BF in the Lightning deals. Pre-adding them to your cart will not work with the Lightning deals because you have to click directly through the link on deal page to get it at that price. I have used coupons on dvds at BestBuy. They usually have the best prices on new releases. Edited November 7, 2011 by Kim3498
