  2. Best recommendation is Amazon IMO. I had a lot of success with them. Wish list the items you want and check your wish list daily and the prices can fluctuate a lot. They are also good with guaranteed delivery too. If your package doesn't arrive, its a no hassle money back guarantee. Stay away from places like Best Buy, Fry's Electronics or FYE. They have a bad track record of losing packages and untimely deliveries. Also buying very high "in demand" items are super discounted prices can lead to those order cancellations. I bought a Gold necklace from JC Penneys last year at 70% off the price. Since it was considered a good seller, they immediately emailed me after buying it stating that they couldn't put a time stamp on it because of it being so in demand. After 7 weeks and about 15 calls to find out where it was, they told me it was not in stock. Last year, stores like JC Penney and Best Buy would market high profile products not knowing how many were in stock and it lead to situations like this. I'd also say to call the retailer's warehouse (if you can) and find out their shipping policy and if they guarantee delivery and their refund policy too.
  3. Awesome! I'll go check it out! Seems like they're still around $25-30 a season so I might hold off but still thank you
  4. I've been watching Amazon for months now and they're still quite expensive! I know last year around BF they can down to $12.99 a season but does anyone know a good place to look for them at a good price? I'm hoping they'll go on sale again around BF. Looking to buy them new Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the input! Yeah I saw a few really good discounts on laptops at Best Buy but they were brands that got terrible reviews and they weren't the specs I needed. I see a few on Newegg sometimes but they're only like 1 day deals. Once November hits, I'm hoping I'll have more luck with it
  6. My wife is wanting a new laptop for Christmas and I have been looking for an awesome deal on one right now but I'm not finding a whole lot. The few that I have found that have the specs she wants are either brands with bad reviews or out of my price range. I'm working with about $500. With the holiday deal's coming up soon, should I wait a few weeks for the sites to start offering some deals?? Thanks!
  7. I'd keep checking Amazon for the best DVD deals. I bought close to 50 movies through amazon last year and only paid around $5.00 for each one and some were even lower. They offer great markdowns as well as great daily deals as well. The best way I have found to track prices on Amazon is to "wishlist" your item of choice. What amazon does its it notifies you when you are viewing your wishlist if the price has dropped and it also displays how much of a % of the drop in price it is too. Pretty great for some items as well. You'll have to check at least every 2-3 days but its worth it.
