I am sort of hesitant though, because when I read the terms, is says that items will be made available to you within 14 days of the final payment. And if they can not produce the items you selected in your layaway contract, you will receive a refund for those items. I would hate to be paying on a layaway from now until Christmas and then go to pick it up, and find out that they don't have my items available... When you start the layaway, is it like at KMart when you actually physically check out with the items and they bundle them together and put your name on them? Or do they do it differently? Shelby1985 Posted October 23, 2011 Share Posted October 23, 2011 I had asked my local TRU about how the layaway for Christmas was going to work and she said that they were keeping all layaways in the back of house.
