Gator Pam
The cheapest a frozen turkey goes for here right before Thanksgiving is 29 cents a pound.
alimfp
I try to get one on sale at Fred Meyer (Kroger). Not sure how much I pay on average (per lb). We usually buy a 15 lb turkey though.
Gporter34
I usually get our's when they go on sale for about .29 per pound. I never pay very much for it. I get a pretty good sized one because everyone here is happy to get it since Thanksgiving is the only time I cook it.
wf2afcop
I got one last week at our Commissary (military) for .39/lb--that is the best price I have found around here (panhandle of Florida).
Marcster
I earned a free turkey by spending $250 at our regular grocery store. http://www.weismarkets.com/images/homepage/TurkeyPromo05.jpg www.weismarkets.com

Gumball
I was looking at frozen turkey breasts at Meijer the other day and nearly went into shock! Didn't notice the per lb. price but the total price on the cheapest one was over $28.00!! I then went over to look at the whole turkeys and couldn't believe the difference - a whole frozen young turkey was under $20!
missyjane
This week our Kroger's has them on sale for $.59, I'm gonna hold out - I suppose that they'll have a little better sale shortly.
Gporter34
I think I will have enough points at one of our grocery stores to get a free turkey this year, too. Usually I buy all of my groceries at WM, but I have been buying some at the grocery store so I hope I have enough points.
